Kinda been on a Sauvignon Blanc jag. Here in Carmel Valley, California our warmer weather really begins at the end of September, Indian Summer time. It’s beautiful here, even though we have not had nearly enough rain and the fears and predictions of horrible drought are constantly in the news. Nevertheless, it is gorgeous and not too hot, sunny and dry. It’s really the perfect weather for Sauvignon Blanc when I just don’t want a Syrah, or Grenache, or a Merlot or anything too big.
Wrath is one of my favorite wineries and their wines are truly exceptional.
This Sauvignon Blanc is so creamy, fruity and delicious that it is worth having around all the time. Perfectly balanced with a lasting and delicate finish, it goes so well with chicken, seafood, cheese and salads.
